WHAT IS THE CLEAR FUTURE INITIATIVE?
Tanologist believes that everyone should have the ability to GLOW in whatever way they choose, that’s why we’ve launched our CLEAR FUTURES Initiative, created to give YOU the support needed to CLEAR the way for a GLOWING FUTURE.
We will be giving 20 members of our Tanologist community £/$100,000 in grants over 12 months designed to help them shape their own future.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR APPLY TO THE CLEAR FUTURE INITIATIVE?
The CLEAR FUTURES Initiative is open to all legal residents of the UK, United States or District of Columbia and are aged 18+
WHAT CAN THE CLEAR FUTURE GRANT BE USED FOR?
The CLEAR FUTURES Initiative was created to eliminate any barriers that lack of funds may create in allowing our community to fulfill their future dreams & plans. The fund can be used for anything from education fees, supporting your small business plans, learning a new skill or helping you clear the way to be your true, authentic self.
WHEN CAN I APPLY TO THE CLEAR FUTURE INITIATIVE?
We will be accepting applications for six weeks at 09:00 (BST) on 8th June 2021 and closes at 00:00 (BST) on 21st July 2021
HOW WILL RECIPIENTS BE SELECTED/JUDGED?
Recipients will be selected by an internal panel of Tanologist employees based on their answers to the following criteria:
The Why: Why you believe you should be a recipient of a CLEAR FUTURES grant
The What: What you would use with the funds provided to you for
The How: How the funds provided to you would benefit your plans for your future
CAN I APPLY MORE THAN ONCE?
We can only accept one applicant per person
CAN I APPLY FOR SOMEONE ELSE?
Members of the Tanologist community can only apply on their own behalf although we encourage you to share the CLEAR FUTURES Initiative with any friends or family you think could benefit from the grant
WHEN WILL WINNERS BE ANNOUNCED?
Our first round of 10 recipients will be contacted via email within 30 days of the application closing date
APPLICATION GUIDELINES
HOW DO I APPLY?
CLEAR FUTURES Applicants must submit a short application video, an optional short essay and complete an application form.

WHAT SHOULD I INCLUDE IN MY APPLICATION?
Your application must include a short video which should cover the following:
The Why: Why you believe you should be a recipient of a CLEAR FUTURE grant
The What: What you would use with the funds provided to you for
The How: How the funds provided to you would benefit your plans for your future
DOES MY VIDEO NEED TO BE PUBLIC TO SUBMIT?
You can submit your video as an unlisted YouTube video, a Vimeo link or public TikTok. You may need to create a Youtube, Vimeo or TikTok account if you don’t already have one.
HOW LONG SHOULD MY VIDEO BE?
Your video should be 2 minutes maximum and cover your answers to all specified questions. It should be filmed in good lighting as well as having good sound & picture quality.
DO I NEED TO WRITE AN ESSAY?
Your can submit an optional short essay of up to 250 words alongside your application video.
WILL MY APPLICATION BE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL?
Your application will be shared with the Tanologist judging panel. All personal information will be confidential however by submitting your application you are granting Tanologist ownership of your video and/or essay.
PRIZE
HOW MUCH MONEY WILL I RECEIVE IF WIN?
We will be allocating grants of £/$5,000 to 20 applicants over 12 months
WHAT HAPPENS IF I WIN?
Up to 20 recipients will receive a £/$5,000 CLEAR FUTURES grant, we will be in touch with successful applicants after the closing date to arrange payment.
